Overhang Recommendations
Front Edge - We recommend a minimum overhang of 1-5/16" to the front of your countertop.
Raw End - This will include all edges that meet a wall or appliance. No overhang is necessary
or suggested at this point.
End Cap - When finishing an open end we recommend having a 1/2" overhang.
Eased Corners - With Eased Corners add the required 3/4" to your countertop measurement.
Radius Corners - For each inch of radius you should include an additional inch of overhang
to your measurements.
Clipped Corners - For each inch of clipping you should include an additional inch of overhang
to your measurements.
Base Transition - When finishing the end we recommend having at least 1/2" overhang.
Angle End - When finishing the end we recommend having at least 1-1/4" overhang.
Example - A 36" cabinet with an exposed left side and a range on the right will
need no less than 36-1/2" of countertop.
