Includes miter cut, straight cut along wall, and cap on backsplash of adjoining piece. The length of the non-island piece is the length of the cabinet run plus the desired amount of overhang on the non-island end. Cabinets indicated by dashed line.

Field Joint - Unassembled

The minimum of a field joint is 10" due to the miter bolts. A field joint combined with a 45° miter has limits of 10" minimum to 20"maximum, from the corner, again due to the miter bolts. The combined field joint/45 miter consists of 2 field joints and 3 miters.
