Manager Trainee

Location: Eau Claire, WI
Travel: As Needed

The Manager Trainee is responsible for the supervision of production team members to ensure that our countertop products are manufactured with the utmost quality and efficiency. The position requires a high degree of professionalism to effectively communicate with company team members on a daily basis. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and Saturday’s as needed. Working overtime is a component of the manager trainee position. Hours over 40 per week are paid at time and a half

Responsibilities:

• Learn the basic operation of manufacturing machines
• Learn company based computer software for scheduling and shipping operations
• Update the safety manuals for manufacturing machines
• Ensure team members are producing quality countertops
• Ensure team members are packaging and shipping countertops to company standards
• Communicate with distribution center to coordinate shipping and receiving
• Ensure that production is on schedule
• Supervise production, shipping and receiving operations
• Ensure that received product is received and put away properly
• Learn how to shut down the plant operations correctly
• Answer team member day to day questions

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be hard working, possess leadership potential and continuously strive for improvement. A Bachelors degree in Operations Management, General Management, or Business is required. Previous experience working in a production environment is a plus!
